Double Jet Ski Slide Installation – Vaal River
Explore SA Outdoor’s completed double jet ski slide installation at Marlbank, Vanderbijlpark, featuring modular floating docking and a pole anchoring system designed for changing Vaal River water levels.

SA Outdoor completed a double jet ski slide installation at Marlbank on the Vaal River near Vanderbijlpark. Designed to accommodate two jet skis, the installation is part of SA Outdoor’s range of jet ski docking systems and modular floating docking solutions in South Africa.

Securing the Floating Installation
The floating installation was secured using 3-metre galvanised poles and infinity brackets. The poles were driven into the riverbed, with sufficient pole length extending above the water to allow the floating structure to rise and fall as the Vaal River water level changes.

Planning for Wake Boats and Storms
An important part of the installation was allowing enough pole height above the water to account for wake boat activity and storm conditions. This helps prevent the floating structure from disengaging from the poles when water levels and movement increase.

Double Jet Ski Docking on the Vaal River
This project demonstrates how careful anchoring and allowance for changing water levels are important when installing double jet ski slides, floating jetties and jet ski docking systems along the Vaal River.
